Narvekar Infertility and Endoscopy Clinic is a family run clinic. It was
established in 1956 in Mumbai, India, by Dr M R Narvekar, a pioneer of
infertility management in Bombay. His foresight and visionary guidance led to
the establishment of an infrastructure that offers infertile couples treatment
and results comparable to the best in the world. Upholding his tradition Dr
Nitin M Narvekar and Dr Ajanta N Narvekar have continued to keep abreast of the
latest international developments in infertility treatment. Their excellent
results have been presented at various professional conferences and meetings.
We are one of the first solely dedicated infertility centres to be set up in
Mumbai, and offer a range of specialised treatments and options to the
infertile couple.
By the end of 1984 Microsurgery was being offered to our patients and by the
middle of 1990 we established our IVF and Operative Endoscopy Departments.
Our first IVF baby was born in May 1991 and our first Oocyte donation baby
in Dec 1991. The ICSI procedure was introduced in 1996 and our first ICSI
baby was born in June 1997. We strive to sustain a high success rate,
comparable with international standards.
